St. Paul Lutheran Church is a generous congregation that recognizes the value of giving financial resources as well as time and God-given talents. We give our time in over two hundred (200) volunteer roles in service to our church and the local and greater community. Our financial generosity not only allows us to cover our expenses but also to tithe to the Synod and support additional Social Concerns. As we grow in our generosity, we grow in our ability to serve God and our brothers and sisters in Christ.Â
If you would like to support St. Paul and its works through the giving of financial resources, there are three ways to do so.Â
Â
For most people, we can grow in our giving just by making our gift on a regular basis. Sign up for automatic giving or just add an amount each week or month. Growing by $1 per day adds up over the year.
Â
If you are 70-1/2 or older and required to make a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your IRA, make your contribution through a QCD. It reduces your taxable income, and you can use your tax savings to increase your contribution. For more information, check out the QCD Guidelines here.Â
Â
In 2024, St Paul members raised $135,641 for social concerns at the local, state, national and international level through normal weekly benevolence giving and almost 300 members participated in fundraisers for targeted caring ministry organizations.
We support God's work through the dedication of our time and talents. Our Time & Talents survey is intended to be 1) a vehicle for you to dedicate to God how you can and will serve; and 2) a means for St. Paul to efficiently organize our activity.Â
Â
To participate in our Time & Talents survey and see how you might do God's work with your hands, access the survey at the top of the page. You can print it, fill it out and return it to the church office so that your skills and interests can be sent to the appropriate coordinators.Â
