Music Ministry

As Lutherans, we are thankful for the many musicians of all ages that offer this gift through choirs and ensembles that lift hearts, teach the faith, and draw the congregation into praise. Whether you are a seasoned singer or simply love to make a joyful noise, there is a place for you, and new friends are always welcome!

Worship Service Musicians

These individuals share their talents with us weekly in worship.

  • 8:30am Service Choir - Weekly rehearsals most often on Thursdays at 7 pm. Check the Schedule: (link under development) and on our website Calendar. 
  • 9:45am Worship Musicians - Chris Morgan is our Music Leader, and Music Associate Donna Derrick joins bi-monthly. 
  • 11:00am Service Choir - Weekly rehearsals often on Wednesday at 7 pm. Check the Schedule: (link under development) and on our website Calendar. 

Additional Musicians & Ensemble Opportunities

  • Combined Choirs - Our 8:30 & 11:00 Choirs combine for special services including Easter, Lessons and Carols, Unity Services, and Christmas Eve! 
  • Bella Musica - Women's Ensemble. Meets periodically through the year.
  • Men For Him - Men’s Ensemble. Meets periodically through the year.
  • Instrumentalists - Strings, Winds, Percussion
  • Requiem Choir - Sing for funerals & memorial services. 
  • The Joyful Noise Ringers - Adult Handbell Choir. 
  • The St. Paul Cantorum - Vocalists who prepare and sing for special occasions including Good Friday and Christmas Day.
  • Youth Musicians - Youth sing and play periodically through the year.

St. Paul also hosts Aiken Philharmonic events when requested. These professional musicians perform under the baton of Maestro Adam DePriest, local conductor, performing violinist, and string teacher.
